Q: What items am I allowed to list?
A: You are allowed to list any items that could be considered Antiques, collectables, memorabilia etc. However, we reserve the right to delete any items which we do not deem appropriate to the Antique sector.
Q: What is the purpose of your website?
A: Attiques is a dedicated website for the promotion of antique sales and services globally. Attiques will differentiate itself from competitors by providing both buy and sell side clients with a platform on which the antiques sector can showcase antiques available for sale and browse antiques available for purchase..We are striving to provide the best possible service that is easy to use and makes the hunt for Antique treasures a great pleasure
Q: Can I buy and sell through Attiques.com?
A: At the moment Attiques.com is a platform that allows its members to only showcase their items to a worldwide audience. A check-out feature to allow for online purchases is currently in planning and will be implemented at a later stage.
Q: How do I list my items?
A: In order to list your items you will need to register and open an account. Once registered you will be able to list your items, events, wanted items etc. under the 'My Account' page.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The first 3 items with 1 image each will be completely free of charge! Additional items or images can be added for a small fee.
We also support the enhancement of your uploaded item by providing our members the option to highlight their items or put them into special featured sections.
For members with multiple items (10+) we also offer very attractive subscription plans which will allow you to activate/deactivate or replace sold items for no additional charge!
Q: How do Subscription Plans work?
A: A subscription plan is especially interesting for members with more than 10 items and offers an easy and hassle-free way to manage uploaded items. For a low monthly fee, you will be able to upload a certain number of items and images (see link for details) and activate and deactivate them as you wish. Activating an item will make it visible to other members and deactivating will hide it without deleting it, giving members the option to ’replace' non-performing items with others.
For example if you have a monthly subscription plan for 10 items, you are permitted one image per item and a total of 20 items uploaded from which you can select the 10 items you wish to display on the platform. In other words a subscription plan allows you to deactivate some items and replace with other active items up to the maximum number allowed. Therefore assuming 20 uploaded items, where the plans allows for 10 items to be active at any one time, you can replace sold items or test member interest in a particular item by changing active items as you wish.
All this is covered under one monthly fee and allowing you the flexibility you need to showcase your items on Attiques.com.
Q: How do I list an event?
A: Once you have registered and logged in, follow the link under the 'My Account' page which allows you to list events.
Please note that events will need to be Antique related and we reserve the right to remove any unrelated entries without any notice
Q: What are wanted items? How do I add them?
A: The wanted items section allows our members to upload a description of any Antique related items they are looking for. Use the Attiques community to find those items you have been searching for!
Q: How do I get an item valued?
A: Attiques.com allows you to upload a description and an image(s) to a special section on our site where other members will then be able to comment on its value. This will help members estimate both the potential value of an item and the marketability of the item.
If you would like your items to be appraised by a professional appraiser, you could find one in our directory here (link to Link Exchange Appraisers)
